Your Impact
Operate, maintain, and fine-tune the Mark Andy P Series to meet exacting customer specifications and tight production timelines.
What You'll Do
- Run and care for Mark Andy P Series equipment to complete jobs per customer specs and job ticket instructions.
- Review job orders and schedules to plan setup, including substrate selection, inks, coatings, and finishing details.
- Set up each job: load substrates, configure files, calibrate color profiles, and prepare the press for accurate production.
- Monitor performance during runs, ensuring consistent color, tight registration, and print fidelity.
- Complete routine color calibration and adjustments to uphold brand color standards and overall print quality.
- Perform scheduled quality checks to confirm alignment with company and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot print defects, mechanical issues, or workflow bottlenecks to limit downtime and reduce waste.
- Execute routine maintenance and cleaning; report mechanical concerns needing repair.
- Follow all safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Partner with production supervision, prepress, and finishing to maintain efficient flow and on-time delivery.
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Mark Andy P Series or other narrow-web flexographic presses
- Knowledge of substrates for pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible, or specialty packaging
- Keen eye for detail and color accuracy with consistent print quality
- Ability to interpret job tickets, work orders, and production schedules
- Familiarity with flexographic print systems, color management, and RIP software (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor adjustments
- Comfort standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
