Low Medical, Dental, Vision rates 401k Retirement Paid Time Off Paid Holidays PPE and tools Job Details Controls Systems Specialist (BAS / HVAC Controls About the Role: We’re looking for a hands-on Controls Systems Specialist to support the final delivery and performance of building automation systems across commercial and industrial projects. This role is focused on field verification, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization, ensuring each project meets design intent, operational standards, and client expectations. You’ll play a key role in bridging engineering, programming, and field execution — helping bring fully integrated systems online and ensuring everything works seamlessly before handoff. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing Perform field verification and commissioning of BAS/DDC systems to ensure proper functionality and sequence of operations Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system, programming, and installation issues Collaborate with electricians, programmers, and engineers to correct field discrepancies Support system startup and ensure fully integrated building systems are operational Document findings, system changes, and improvements throughout the project lifecycle Provide customer support, training, and system guidance post-installation Assist with service calls (remote and onsite) and participate in on-call rotation Build deep working knowledge of system designs to support long-term service and optimization efforts ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience with commercial/industrial HVAC controls or building automation systems Strong troubleshooting skills across controls, electronics, networking, and integrated systems Hands-on experience with BAS platforms such as: o Niagara (N4/AX), Distech, Alerton, or similar o Lighting controls or integrated building systems is a plus Familiarity with low voltage controls, system networking, and programming concepts Experience with tools like AutoCAD, Windows OS, and general software platforms Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in the field ________________________________________ Additional Details Field-based role with travel to job sites as needed Exposure to a variety of commercial environments and system types Opportunity to grow into deeper technical expertise across integrated building systems Competitive compensation based on experience + full benefits package Interested in hearing more?
