Projects include Commercial, Healthcare, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc. This person will lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex building systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University PE License Required 8 to 10+ years of experience with an MEP or Engineering Consulting firm designing HVAC building systems on complex projects Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD Experienced in Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Projects, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc. Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction. Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines. Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives. Experience with direct client contact and fostering those relationships. Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies. Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process. Actively engage in community and/or industry-specific organizations. Experience and interest in Sustainable Building Design LEED AP or LEED GA with previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.
