Job Title - Martin School Marketing & Communications Assistant
Work Location - Lexington, KY
Salary Range - $15/hour - $20/hour
Type of Position - Student
Position Time Status - Part-Time
Required Education - Enrolled as a University of Kentucky student in the Fall 26-Spring 27 semesters.
Required Related Experience - Knowledge of marketing with LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook platforms. Experience with Canva and Adobe design platforms. Has experience with photography, videography, and editing.
Physical Requirements - Sitting at a computer for extended time periods. Some lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.
Shift - Usually days, M-F, 4-6 hours per week total, as needed. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Job Summary - The Martin School of Public Policy and Administration is seeking a Marketing & Communications Assistant for the academic year of 2026-27 to serve the Martin School community. Responsibilities include:
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities - An understanding of design principles and at least a year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Functional knowledge of photography. Strong writing skills.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? - No
The ideal candidate will be able to work from August 3, 2026 to May 10, 2026. The position will remain open until filled.
