  • Develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that drive revenue growth with target clients aligned to ERM's global strategy.
  • Listen carefully to client needs and co-develop practical, innovative solutions that deliver long-term value.
  • Build, grow, and lead a high-performing team, mentoring consultants and helping emerging leaders expand their responsibilities and impact.
  • Drive service innovation and collaboration across ERM service lines and participate actively in local and regional commercial initiatives.
  • Expand the visibility of ERM's Sustainable Operations services through thought leadership, industry engagement, and strategic partnerships.

Business Leadership

  • Drive profitable growth by expanding key client relationships and winning new work across the Sustainable Operations portfolio.
  • Shape commercial strategy in alignment with ERM's focus on the world's leading organizations and priority sectors.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business as an equity Partner and visible leader within the firm.
  • Strengthen ERM's market position by extending client reach, industry relationships, and brand visibility in environmental compliance.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership in environmental compliance, operational risk, and EHS performance improvement.
  • Develop and deploy innovative compliance and risk management solutions tailored to complex regulatory environments.
  • Guide clients in integrating sustainability objectives with compliance, biodiversity, and resource management requirements.
  • Deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk exposure, and support safe, sustainable, and compliant performance.

People Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop the next generation of leaders within Sustainable Operations.
  • Identify emerging talent and provide stretch opportunities that support career progression and succession development.
  • Foster a culture that reflects ERM's commitment to safety, sustainability, inclusion, and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in EHS compliance, environmental compliance, and risk management.
  • Executive-level consulting or corporate leadership experience with a strong track record of business development and client growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.
  • Broad solutions experience spanning compliance, reporting, and operational risk.
  • Strong communicator, collaborator, and people leader with the ability to mentor and grow high-performing teams.
  • Established client network or market credibility in sectors such as technology, energy, or other industrial markets is preferred.

Success Factors

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the vision to grow a practice and expand market impact.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Credibility in environmental compliance with an integrated view of sustainability and operational performance.
  • Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
  • Passion for developing people, advancing innovation, and contributing to ERM's long-term success as a Partner.

For the Consulting Partner, EHS & Sustainable Operations position, the anticipated annual base pay is $172,000 - $215,000 (USD).
