Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE: UHS) is currently recruiting for our Chief Nursing Officer at Palmdale Regional Medical Center located in Palmdale, CA. Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents and surrounding communities. The hospital features 190 licensed acute care beds, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack), and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. The Center for Wound Care provides treatment for people with chronic non-healing wounds. This comprehensive wound-healing service includes hyperbaric oxygen therapy. More than 400 physicians are on the medical staff at Palmdale Regional Medical Center and they have around 900 employees.
The Chief Nursing Officer is a key member of the Hospital Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric nursing strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The CNO participates in the hospital's strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. The Chief Nursing Officer will focus on five key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance.
