Job Title Pediatric Radiology Technologist Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures on pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures on pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols. Ensure optimal image quality while adhering to ALARA principles for radiation safety. Prepare and position pediatric patients for imaging, explaining procedures in an age-appropriate manner to ensure cooperation and minimize anxiety. Operate and maintain various radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as needed. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and imaging documentation. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in a pediatric setting.
