Lab Analyst II

Here's what you'd do: -Perform analyses including instrumental and automated methods utilizing prescribed procedures and techniques.-Maintain well-documented laboratory notebooks and records.-Perform calculations to convert laboratory data into a reportable form.-Report results on the appropriate database (SAP).-Interpret test results.-Develop methods for GC-FID, GC-MS, and any other instruments as required.-Clean glassware and maintain a clean environment.-Restock chemicals from the stock room.-Check inventory of R&D samples and dispose of them accordingly.-Assist the QA department with investigations and closure of CAPA.-Create SDS sheets.-Assist in tobacco extraction production.-Prepare R&D samples and send them to the customers.-Ensures safety, housekeeping, and compliance issues are maintained.-It is the responsibility of each employee to work in a safe and responsible manner to create an injury-free and incident--free workplace.-Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements.-May be asked to perform other duties if necessary.-Assist the lab manager in the completion of the projects.-Assist in maintaining Environmental Compliance throughout the plant.-Oversee and assist Lab Analysts I and II in their duties. Required skills:-Associate's Degree in Physical or Biological Science-Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical.-Minimum 6 years of experience in a laboratory. Preferred skills:-Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science-Broad knowledge of analytical and chemical techniques.-Ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve team goals and expectations.-Interest in researching and implementing new approaches in analysis.-Ensure that the lab is maintained in a safe operating condition as per company safety policies.
