Job description
Mercor is recruiting U.K.-based Software Engineers for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. **You are a good fit if you:** - Have experience in COBOL - Have at least **5 years of full-time software engineering experience** - Have **work experience at a big tech company** (e.g., Slack, Notion, Stripe, Figma, etc.) - Are **currently based in the U.K.** **Here are more details about the role:** - You will be contributing to high-quality training data for frontier AI systems alongside a team of senior engineers - The work is **fully remote** and project-based - You are available to work 40 hours/week - Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor **The vetting process involves:** - Resume + work history screen - Short technical assessment evaluating engineering expertise
