The Work: Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled level 2 Project Engineer with an active Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO, location. As a Project Engineer for the OPIR Infrastructure Team, you will (to include, but not limited to): provide support to Product Owners and Engineering Managers, working under very general supervision in support of larger team goals; support schedules/timelines for product team execution; help coordinate inter-team dependencies and drive transparency across product teams, anticipating obstacles to performance; support and participate in working groups and technical exchange meetings; support staff meetings, documentation, data collection or inputs for presentations, produce/update presentations, track/provide/maintain metrics, work special assignments or ad hoc tasks, and other duties as assigned; apply critical thinking and initiative to help address tasks and requirements for the entire program in support of program goals; relentlessly seek automation opportunities in support of process improvement and embedded quality; be organized and flexible with strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and capacity to manage multiple tasks while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL (level 2) ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. Desired Skills: Flexibility and determination to learn new skills; experience with Linux, A+, Sec+, and or Net+; process improvement experience; experienced with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence; accountable and responsible, able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment; experience with agile and waterfall methodologies; knowledge of earned value management; experience with developing and maintaining cross-functional schedules for projects or activities; positive/self-starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived roadblocks; demonstrated effective communication skills, to include briefing senior leaders; experience with security classification guidelines and classified efforts; self-driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to work remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Work Schedule: 9x80 every other Friday off.

Security Clearance Information: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Top Secret clearance is required.

National Pay Statement: Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement: Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,600 - $139,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
