Pay: $105,000–$140,000 annually + bonus potential

Job Description:

We are seeking a Manager of Software Development to lead a team of software engineers in a fully remote environment. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring developers, improving engineering processes, and helping build a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, motivated, and excited to contribute to an evolving technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately seven software developers.
• Drive Agile and Scrum best practices while helping improve software development processes.
• Monitor team performance through KPIs, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee project execution and prioritize work within a ticket-based development environment.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to deliver quality software solutions.
• Remove obstacles and help the team improve efficiency and productivity.
• Support career growth and professional development for team members.
• Provide technical guidance when needed while remaining focused on leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing or leading software development teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience tracking team performance using KPIs and project metrics.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Technical experience with Microsoft technologies or .NET is preferred but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
