Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry - Sinai Grace Hospital Job Summary Join our dedicated nursing team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. This role is based on the 2 West Telemetry unit, providing critical care and continuous cardiac monitoring for adult patients with various cardiovascular and medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an an experienced Telemetry RN seeking a dynamic and supportive environment for a short-term assignment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for telemetry patients. Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient condition. Administer medications safely and accurately, including IV infusions, and manage patient pain effectively. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques. Collaborate effectively with physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans. Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records (EHR) documentation. Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions, including basic and advanced life support measures. Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current experience in an acute care Telemetry setting. Preferred Qualifications Not specified.
