CNC Machine Operator & Assembly Associate

Position Overview
PrideStaff is seeking a focused, attentive, and reliable CNC Machine Operator & Assembly Associate for a premier local manufacturing client.
The ideal candidate possesses strong basic PC knowledge and hands-on experience operating machinery in a production or assembly setting. If you are a quick learner who is willing to master a foundational production process, has great hand-eye coordination, and doesn't mind doing repetitive, precision tasks, this is an excellent opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will perform essential production activities to ensure machinery runs safely, efficiently, and meets the quality goals of the company. Your daily duties will include:
Machine Operations: Run CNC mills or lathes, including managing tool changes and adjusting tool offsets as required.
Procedural Compliance: Read, understand, and strictly follow operator work instructions, safety guidelines, and sample boards.
Quality Control: Inspect small, intricate part features up close to ensure strict compliance with quality standards.
Tracking & reporting: Maintain and accurately report daily production counts and inventory data.
Workspace Upkeep: Keep your assigned machinery and workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and previous experience operating machinery in a production or assembly environment.
Precision & Focus: Strong attention to detail, excellent close-up vision, and sharp hand-eye coordination. Frequent mental and visual concentration is required during machine cycles and inspection phases.
Soft Skills: Professionalism, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic Aptitude: Ability to read/listen carefully to procedures and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Physical Demands: Requires standing, constant hand movement, and repeated reaching and twisting throughout the entire shift. Must be able to lift and move materials up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment: Comfortable working in a standard industrial manufacturing setting that can be dusty, loud, and exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, solvents, alcohol, and water-based coolants.
