We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with at least 6+ years of IT experience and Insurance domain experience.

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for: System Analytics Data Analytics Business Analytics Project Management The Business Systems Analyst will report to the Sr. Program Manager & Advisor. The position will primarily be remote. The position will entail limited travel to the home office or occasionally to visit clients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Systems Analyst: Coordinates with managers and users to identify systems problems; assesses severity of the issues and prioritizes responses as appropriate. Assists with system tests and collaborates with programmers to resolve issues and errors. Works with users to identify system requirements; develops processing procedures and systems modifications to meet these specifications. Prepares specifications and documents for programmers.
- Data Analyst: Oversees database development and modification efforts. Designs and implements secure, efficient, and accurate databases. Develops and maintains documentation and standards. Assists Senior Project Manager & Advisor and identifies and resolves production and/or applications development problems related to the use of the database management system software or utilities. Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, upper management.
- Business Analyst: Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology. Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system. Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation. Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system difficulties. Satisfies data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other user requests from existing client databases. Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
- Project Management: Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly. Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate). Communicates and collaborates with teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Understanding of computer languages used within database. Understanding of database design and construction.
Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience required. At least three years in Data Processing, with at least two years of experience with database management systems
