We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor for our 3rd Shift, based in Memphis, TN, to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the DP World team! 3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00am-5:30pm
How you will contribute:
HS Diploma/GED required
Experience supervising in an Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.
Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.)
