Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Vice President Lead Investment Banker in New York, NY.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Create pitches/term sheets. Prepare borrowing base calculations in Excel. Lead due diligence meetings. Act as the lead banker on driving internal underwriting and credit approval process, including writing detailed credit memos and leading internal discussions with credit partners. Work closely with internal and external counsel to negotiate legal documentation. Work with clients to understand financing needs and provide tailored solutions including structuring transaction deal terms. Work closely with analysts and internal partners to manage internal compliance, booking, and funding processes. Maintain client relationships, including researching and reconciling questions/discrepancies and proactively ensuring that all deal requirements are met. Negotiation, structuring, and execution of amendments and other facility modifications. Support team members in collateral analysis and compliance tracking. Monitor financial performance and internal credit ratings of borrowers and limited partners. Periodic client due diligence. Annual reviews. Contribute to portfolio analysis across the broader Fund Finance Group portfolio. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 1 day per week. Position must appear in person at the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.

Amount and type of experience required: Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving investment banking experience.

Specific skills required:

Five (5) years of front office or credit experience at a major firm with a focus in finance; Experience with deal origination and credit underwriting; Direct client interaction experience, including experience leading relevant transaction elements and interaction with senior decision makers; Leadership experience or experience training others in a relevant professional capacity; Experience with originating and monitoring subscription facilities, asset backed finance, securitization, or other structured products.

Salary: $185,000 - $300,000

Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
