The Temporary Accountant reports to the Executive Director of Business and Operations and is responsible for conducting a comprehensive internal review of the financial records and accounting processes associated with the District's Capital Projects Office. This temporary position will reconcile bond-related financial records, establish standardized accounting procedures, improve financial documentation and reporting, and develop systems to strengthen financial oversight. Upon completion of the project, responsibility for the ongoing financial management of the Capital Projects Office will transition to a Warwick Public Schools Senior Accountant.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field required. CPA certification or governmental accounting experience is preferred.
