Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday (7:00am-4:00pm)

What’s a typical day as Purchasing Expeditor? You’ll be:
- Supporting the Purchasing Manager by expediting high-priority purchase orders and ensuring on-time delivery of essential materials
- Monitoring supplier performance, reviewing overdue purchase order reports, and following up with suppliers on delivery schedules and delays
- Performing inventory cycle counts, maintaining and updating inventory records, and assisting in efficient material flow
- Researching products, pricing, and specifications through various vendor resources
- Collaborating with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies, shortages, returns, and pricing issues
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and purchasing-related statistics
- Monitoring and ordering office and janitorial supplies as needed
- Assisting with manufacturing and operational tasks as assigned, while participating in cross-training for Receiving and Kitting functions
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)
- Possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with vendors, coworkers, and customers by phone, email, and in person
- Are proficient with basic math and general computer applications, including data entry
- Can lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and are comfortable with extended periods of sitting or standing
- Preferably have experience in purchasing, inventory control, warehouse support, manufacturing, or office administration
- Bring intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
