Job Description / Position Summary

Opportunity to contribute to core technology infrastructure at Bank of America using API-driven cloud and container engineering technology. Agile sprint-based delivery of lean container base image technology for lightweight runtimes like OpenJDK, .Net and middleware runtimes including Apache and Tomcat. Hands-on engineering delivery of internal cloud technology using Terraform, Java Microservices and modern automation best practices.

Required Skills

• Core Java Programming
• Golang / Terraform / TFE skills

• Strong Java Microservices developer

• Experience with working with OCI container based Private cloud: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker/podman

• Experience with Spring framework: Spring Boot, Java, Transactional backend development

• Software development skills: Git source control, branch/merge, pull requests

• Basic knowledge of Linux and systems automation

• Experience with working in Agile enterprise environment: SCRUM, Standups

• Experience with test driven development: Cucumber

• Java microservice / Java

Desired Skills

• Strong organization, writing, communication skills

• Experience with financial sector
