What You'll Do Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned: · Verify accuracy of all information provided on application · Assist in preparing credit applications · Assist with the preparation of CIP and KYC forms.
· Effectively communicate the Terms and Conditions of the loan to the customer in a timely fashion.
· Maintain the highest quality standards with minimum supervision.
· Assist AVP Business Development Officer in follow up of prospective clients.
· Prepare and verify customer's loan application via the phone · Collect documents from customer required to support decision of loan approval in addition to third parties documents such as condo questionnaire, litigation documents and insurance.
· Ensure loans are ready to be processed as per established company procedures and policies.
· Ensure proper communication with internal departments and parties involved in the lending process.
· Receive inbound calls and make outbound follow up calls when applicable · Understand the need to escalate customer calls when appropriate · Ensure loan file requirements are met with lending criteria and standards · Handle all correspondence and confidential information with customers · Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines · Assist in special projects as assigned What You'll Need Requirements and Qualifications • College degree is preferred • Minimum of four years of related financial services experience and customer service.
• Must be bilingual in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
• Advanced Skills with Microsoft Office.
