Millwrights will install machinery & equipment according to layouts plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial settings.
Repair, Maintenance & refurbishment of equipment and machinery in accordance with factory standards.
Fulltime, typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM but shifts may be required onsite.
Overtime may be required Location: Tacoma, WA Salary range is based on experience Travel required, 75% Responsibilities Install, dismantle or move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
Fabricate, modify or repair mechanical instruments.
Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines and mechanical equipment in repair.
Operate machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, cranes and jackhammers when needed.
Other duties may involve pipe fitting, welding, machining, carpentry, or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment, using hoist, jacks, hand tools, squares, rulers, and micrometers.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed by supervisor that employee can safely perform.
