Job Description
Syracuse University’s Center for Experiential Pedagogy & Practice (CEPP) is seeking to fill the position of Simulation Logistics Coordinator (Temporary). The job assignment will run from July 27, -January 8th, . The successful applicant will report to the Executive Director and help coordinate logistics for simulation education at Syracuse University.
The position will ensure effective daily operations of simulations and clinical education in the Center for Experiential Pedagogy & Practice, mostly managing scheduling and behind the scenes logistics. This includes recruiting and scheduling actors for simulations, scheduling actor training sessions, tracking actor hours and submitting payroll weekly, and creating schedules for both in-person and virtual simulations.
This is a temporary, in-person position requiring 25 hours per week. Hours are flexible and will be coordinated with the Executive Director, but must fall within standard university business hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM in summer / 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM in fall). Regular check-ins with the Executive Director are expected throughout the week.
