Job description

Marketing Content Producer

The Marketing Content Producer is a creative driver and visual storyteller responsible for owning the full content lifecycle at Cumberland Heights - from ideation and production through distribution and performance. The role has two sides that work together: capturing great content, and distributing it strategically. On the capture side, you'll shoot, edit, and produce across video, photography, and audio. On the distribution side, you'll manage Cumberland Heights' social presence day to day and shape a consistent, recognizable visual brand that people connect with.

The ideal candidate proactively identifies content opportunities, pitches ideas, and leverages every tool available (cameras, drones, and audio gear) to tell compelling stories that reflect the mission, people, and impact of Cumberland Heights. This position requires a motivated creative professional who can operate independently, manage a full production calendar, and consistently deliver work that is both strategically aligned and visually excellent.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Leads end-to-end video production for the organization, including concept development, storyboarding, scheduling, filming, and post-production editing.
  • Serves as the organization's primary photographer, capturing staff headshots, campus environments, events, and program moments.
  • Owns social media across all active platforms, including content, publishing, scheduling, and day-to-day management.
  • Captures high-quality video content at the River Road campus and other locations as needed, including campus visuals, b-roll, event coverage, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Produces polished short- and long-form video content for marketing campaigns and organizational storytelling & platform-native content (reels, short-form video, carousels, & stories) that reflects current best practices and drives engagement.
  • Manages all aspects of the organization's podcast, including guest identification and outreach, scheduling, pre-interview preparation, recording setup and facilitation, post-production editing, and distribution to platforms including YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
  • Engages with our social media community by responding to comments and messages, and building genuine connection with followers.
  • Proactively identifies moments, milestones, and narratives across all programs and populations served to ensure broad, authentic representation.
  • Plans and executes full-day staged shoots, managing run-of-show, on-site direction, logistics, and creative alignment.
  • Obtains and maintains FAA Part 107 drone certification and actively uses aerial footage to elevate campus and location visuals.
  • Develops and maintains a consistent visual brand and personality across all channels, so Cumberland Heights feels recognizable across platforms.
  • Partners with teams across the organization to support brand implementation and identify content needs proactively.
  • Manages relationships with freelance creatives, including secondary photographers and graphic designers, ensuring quality, timeliness, and project alignment.
  • Demonstrates strong judgment in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding company, patient, and organizational information.
  • Stay up to date with all new video technological advances.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in content creation, videography, photography, or multimedia production required. Marketing agency experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality video content from concept through delivery - shooting, editing, and distribution.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven experience creating and managing social media content, including community engagement and audience growth, with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and content performance.
  • Experience operating camera, lighting, and audio equipment across a variety of production environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-starting work style with the ability to identify and pursue content opportunities without direction.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or freelance creatives preferred.
  • Experience producing or coordinating podcast content preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to locations across the greater Nashville area and Tennessee as needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Part 107 drone certification required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors.

Work environment:

  • Hybrid position: three days on-site at the River Road campus in Nashville, two days remote; on-site schedule is not flexible.
  • Occasional travel required to additional locations, primarily within the greater Nashville area, with limited statewide travel as needed.
  • Requires ability to execute full-day photo and video shoots including extended standing, walking, and hands-on production work.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.
  • Regular interaction with patients, staff, and visitors, including individuals experiencing emotional distress; adherence to safety protocols required.
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on events and production needs.
