Job Title: Quality Control Technician - First Shift Opportunity!
Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Control Technician, where you will be responsible for inspecting final products to ensure they meet order specifications and conform to quality standards. You will play a crucial role in determining product acceptance and initiating supplier rejection reports for nonconformance. Your contributions will support continuous improvement efforts and the ISO Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test products to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Determine product acceptance based on quality standards.
- Initiate supplier rejection reports and nonconformance reports (NCRs).
- Provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in and fulfill responsibilities as defined in the ISO Quality Management System manuals.
- Support Research and Development (R&D) as needed.
- Reject materials that do not meet quality standards.
- Place nonconforming products on hold.
Essential Skills
- Experience in quality control and inspection.
- Proficiency in laboratory work related to quality control.
- Strong math skills, including density and tensile testing.
- Experience in blending and adhesive applications.
- Familiarity with flame atomic absorption techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous lab experience with testing tensile, density, adhesion, visual measuring, and burn rates is a plus.
Work Environment
- Work in an industrial lab setting with hours from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Pay: 18-20$/hr.
- Located Fully Onsite - Near the Wheaton, IL area
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Wheaton, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
