Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled business requirements writer to drive agent application strategy within the Agent Delivery & Strategy team. The role focuses on the defining and managing end-to-end business requirements for the applications agents use to support customers in real time. The team works closely with multiple business and IT stakeholders throughout project lifecycles from inception to production delivery. The team is actively engaged in supporting growth areas of the business, specifically EchoStar's Wireless business. You will help support the launch of new functionality brands and help align agent tools with EchoStar’s wireless businesses. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment as we collectively transform the wireless industry.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive requirements, ensuring all cross-functional teams are aligned on project goals and deliverables

  • Drive the strategy for agent-facing applications by translating user feedback and operational data into clear, actionable development roadmaps

  • Influence project outcomes by proposing highly efficient, user-centric solutions that directly support department-level OKRs around customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

  • Leverage AI-driven productivity and analysis tools to accelerate the business requirements gathering process, automate meeting summaries, and generate initial draft documentation

  • Oversee the end-to-end requirements lifecycle from initial product inception to successful production delivery, proactively addressing potential scope changes and technical obstacles

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring)

  • Strong skills in translating complex business processes and user needs into structured, unambiguous technical requirements and documentation

  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, drive operational change, and present strategic recommendations clearly to organizational leadership

  • Critical experience analyzing end-to-end user journeys to identify process bottlenecks and execute targeted optimization opportunities

  • AI literacy and application skills, specifically using generative AI platforms to streamline analysis, structure data, and brainstorm user-interface improvements.

  • Exceptional prioritization and time management capabilities to successfully drive multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment

  • A deep passion for customer experience optimization paired with a natural curiosity to learn emerging technologies and IT methodologies

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field (or 4 years of equivalent business operations analyst experience)

  • Minimum Experience: 4 years of experience in business operations analysis, requirements writing, or a closely related role

  • Required Technical Skills:

    Documenting end-to-end business requirements or user stories for software applications

    Collaborating directly with IT development teams and translating business needs into technical specifications

    Analyzing and mapping complex business workflows or user journeys

Salary RangesCompensation: $63,150.00/Year - $80,000.00/Year Benefits

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
