Sound like a good fit?APPLY TODAY **Please send resumes to Cara at sellonc@!!** What You'll Do:-Design production and prototype tooling and fixtures to specified design criteria considering annual part volume, cycle time, quoted mold specifications, and tooling budgets.-Create 2D prints of highly critical dimensional areas as well as general tooling layout packets.-Present completed designs for review both internally as well as externally with customer present.-Assist sales and project engineering groups with design for manufacture issues and part improvements.-Perform mold CAE analysis consisting of filling, cooling, and warpage. What You'll Bring:-High School Diploma or GED.-3+ years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding.-3+ years of 3D Modeling experience, including SolidWorks.-3+ years of Prior Mold Making, or Design experience. What Sets You Apart:-Associate Degree.-Bachelor's Degree.-FEA analytical experience in Mold Flow, or SolidWorks Simulation.-Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.-Must have excellent organizational skills and a high level of follow through.-Self-motivated.-Ability to work with individuals at all levels.-Completion of skilled trades training applicable to plastics industry. Additional Information:-Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.-Regularly needed to sit and use hands.-Occasionally need to lift or move up to 10 pounds, with a potential of up to 25 pounds.-Sedentary, office environment; frequent exposure to manufacturing plant floor needing the use of personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.) and following good manufacturing practices.
