Civil Engineer – Reno, NV

An established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Land Development Engineer to lead the design and delivery of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead land development projects from due diligence through construction.
  • Manage entitlements, permitting, and agency coordination.
  • Oversee site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway improvements.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record and provide QA/QC oversight.
  • Mentor engineering staff, manage client relationships, and support business development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years of land development engineering experience.
  • Nevada PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and municipal development regulations.
