Machine Operator 1st Shift
Location: Grandville, MI
Schedule: Monday Thursday | 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Overtime: Friday | 4:00 AM 12:00 PM (as needed)
Job Summary
Arrow Staffing is hiring Machine Operators for a leading precision metal manufacturing company in Grandville, MI. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering a consistent four-day work week with overtime available on Fridays. We're looking for dependable individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate production machinery according to work instructions.
Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines.
Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments as needed.
Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Record production and quality information accurately.
Change tooling and notify maintenance of any equipment issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring equipment.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attendance and reliability.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
Frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift.
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, machinery, and metal materials.
