What You'll Be Doing As a Database Administrator IV, you'll play a critical role in shaping the organization's database environment by:Architecting and designing enterprise-level RDBMS solutions for complex initiativesServing as the technical subject matter expert for database technologies and best practicesPartnering with application owners and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure database solutionsTranslating business requirements into technical database designs and recommendationsLeading database strategy for regulatory, compliance, maintenance, and enhancement initiativesDriving database performance tuning, optimization, reliability, and availabilityEvaluating new database technologies and vendor solutionsManaging business continuity, disaster recovery, auditing, and risk mitigation processesLeading testing efforts and ensuring successful implementation of database enhancementsProviding technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior database professionalsCollaborating with architecture teams, vendors, executives, and business stakeholders on enterprise initiativesSupporting production environments while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement What We're Looking For We're seeking a highly experienced database professional with:Expert-level experience administering Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)Strong database architecture and enterprise solution design experienceProven ability to lead complex technical projects from concept through implementationExperience working within highly regulated enterprise environments (banking, finance, healthcare, etc. preferred)Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, optimization, backup, recovery, and disaster recoveryExperience supporting compliance, audit, and risk management initiativesExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to mentor technical teams and provide strategic technical directionExperience working with vendors and evaluating emerging technologies Why Work with Acara Solutions?
