Surgical Services Sterile Processing Tech
Mid 5x8-Hour shift (15:00 - 23:30) with scheduled rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays.
Seeking candidates with experience in a busy healthcare facility. Must possess familiarity with sterile processing duties.
Experience in the decontamination of instruments (drills, scopes, etc.)
Ability to assemble instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaners
Knowledge of sterilization processes (sterrad and steam)
HLD/scope experience
Experience with sterile storage
OR liaison experience
Proficiency with Censitrac tracking system
Medivator experience required
Certification: CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM)
Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
Assemble and pack surgical instruments correctly for sterilization.
Maintain sterile storage protocols and inventory management.
Serve as a liaison between operating room staff and sterile processing team.
Utilize tracking systems to ensure accurate documentation of instrument usage.
