Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are organized, dependable, and eager to develop their administrative skills. The successful candidate will accurately enter, update, and maintain data while ensuring confidentiality and meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into company databases, spreadsheets, and software systems with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review and verify information before entering it into the system.
  • Update existing records and correct errors as needed.
  • Organize and maintain electronic files and documents.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to emails and communicate with team members regarding data-related issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information.
  • Meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) or Google Workspace.
  • Strong typing and data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.

Preferred

  • Previous administrative or customer service experience (not required).
  • Familiarity with data management software or CRM systems.
  • Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and online collaboration tools.
