Education:
▪ Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
▪ Required: 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field.
Skills:
• Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
• Basic knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain. Develops and maintains knowledge of related IT systems as well as supporting business and IT domains.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

IT Systems Analyst II:
Education:
▪ Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
▪ Required: 4 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain. Develops and maintains knowledge of related IT systems as well as supporting business and IT domains.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with department resources.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of operational workflows.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to lead small to medium size initiatives related to clinical systems improvementsHands on Skills:
- Configuring Devices: Routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
- Troubleshooting Tools: Ping, traceroute, Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP monitoring.
- Cabling & Hardware: Fiber, copper, transceivers, patch panels, rack/stack.
- Must be able to carry 10-15 pounds of equipment and lift into a rack.
Networking Fundamentals:
- Understanding TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, VLANs, routing vs. switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT.
- Protocols & Services: HTTP/S, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, VPNs, VoIP, multicast.
- LAN/WAN Technologies: Ethernet, wireless standards (802.11), MPLS, SD-WAN.
- Routing & Switching: Static and dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), STP, port channels, trunking.
- Cisco, Aruba, VMWare
- Certifications strongly preferred: CCNP, CCIE, etc.
