Work you'll do As a Delivery Senior Consultant, Infrastructure Engineering Solutions on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for: * Configuring and deploying applications and microservices for client environments * Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining containerized software * Supporting cloud and infrastructure automation activities using tools such as Amazon Web Services CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and GitLab * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure engineering solutions aligned to client needs * Mentoring junior practitioners and supporting knowledge sharing across the team A successful candidate would possess these skills: * Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product * Ability to build and sustain professional relationships * Ability to lead projects or workstreams * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment * Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor * Ability to meet deadlines * Ability to provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift * 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services DevOps, including Amazon Web Services CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and GitLab * Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Preferred: * Experience developing cloud-native solutions using Node.js, Python, or Go, and with Amazon Web Services Lambda * Amazon Web Services Associate- or Professional-level certification; Red Hat Linux system administration certification; or HashiCorp Terraform certification * Experience with infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform and Chef * Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker
