Lead engineer / tech lead: Own end to end technical delivery for Splash BI implementations.
Perform architecture reviews and guide design decisions with minimal oversight.
Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
Identify technical risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
Serve as a technical point of contact between engineering, delivery, and business teams.
Support production BI environments.
Troubleshoot data issues, failed loads, and reporting discrepancies.
Apply strong understanding of change management, releases, and cutover planning.
Create and maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
Maintain data lineage and reconciliation guides.
Requirements:
9+ years of experience.
Hands on experience implementing and supporting Splash BI in an enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of Splash BI data models, cubes, and reporting structures.
Ability to optimize Splash BI performance for large finance datasets.
Experience supporting finance stakeholders.
Deep experience with Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, cash management.
Strong understanding of EBS table structures and data relationships.
Ability to extract, transform, and reconcile EBS financial data for BI/reporting use cases.
Experience working with EBS customizations and extensions.
Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, performance tuning, reconciliation queries).
Experience building data feeds from Oracle EBS into BI platforms.
Familiarity with file based integrations (SFTP, scheduled extracts).
Data transformation and validation experience.
Understanding of financial data controls and audit requirements.
Proven ability to ramp up quickly in complex environments.
Comfortable working with partial context and imperfect documentation.
Clear and concise communicator with technical and non technical audiences.
Experience working with global and distributed teams.
