The Retirement Technician is responsible for providing advisory services to active and retired employees of the state retirement system regarding their benefits and assisting them in completing necessary forms and applications. The Retirement Technician is responsible for answering inquiries, acting as a liaison between the state retirement office and employees, and completing retirement system-related forms in a timely fashion.

Sitting is required most of each work day. Must be able to operate office equipment. Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds is sometimes required. Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas.
