Virgin Galactic is building the world's first commercial spaceline and the story we tell matters as much as the ships we build. We're looking for a corporate communications manager to help shape and execute that story across media, executive communications, and corporate narrative. This is a hands-on role for a sharp writer and media relations professional who moves fast, has impeccable attention to detail, and understands that the right word in the right place changes everything.
You'll be part of a lean, high-performing communications function and work directly with senior leaders on the content and relationships that drive Virgin Galactic's public profile forward.
This is a high-visibility role that requires equal parts strategic thinking, writing, hands-on execution, and pitching journalists on the stories that keep Virgin Galactic front of mind. You'll work with teams across the company, advise senior leaders, and help set the standard for how we communicate externally. Support the company strategy by holding ourselves and one another accountable for getting the work done.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and trusted advisor who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced environment, reporting into the vice president of communications.
