Data Operations Manager (Business Operations Manager 2)
The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Data Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our Data Office. Summary of duties include providing operational leadership for the ODHS Data Office by managing the delivery of enterprise analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data services. You will supervise multiple teams, establish operational priorities and service standards, oversee workload planning, and ensure data products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with agency governance and strategic priorities.
Working closely with Data Office leadership, IT partners, program leadership, and business partners and other interested parties, you will translate enterprise data governance into operational practice, foster collaboration across programs, improve business processes, and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, equity, and customer service. This position directly supports the agency's mission by ensuring trusted data is available to inform policy, programs, and decisions that improve the lives of Oregonians.
Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; OR three years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Working conditions include a professional office and hybrid work environment, frequent collaboration with agency leadership, program areas, IT partners, and stakeholders through virtual and in-person meetings, occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, and coordination activities, and requires balancing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing operational needs while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Background checks and requirements include a criminal history and background check, and completion of the US Department of Homeland Security's I-9 form confirming authorization to work in the United States.
