Lead, Innovate, and Inspire with a Growing Manufacturing Legacy!
Are you an approachable, ego-free leader in the Industrial Maintenance field? PrideStaff is working on behalf of a family-owned manufacturing powerhouse in the Dayton area to find a dynamic Maintenance Manager for their Huber Heights location.
If you thrive in a collaborative environment and want to make a real impact at a company where employee turnover is less than half the national manufacturing benchmark, this career-defining role is for you. You will lead an experienced, highly technical team toward world-class machine maintenance while partnering closely with management peers in a supportive culture where “Everybody is Somebody.”
Maintenance Manager - What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Strategic Planning: Plan all maintenance activities, prioritizing day-to-day team tasks, managing long-term improvement projects, and overseeing specialized July and December maintenance projects.
Drive Performance Metrics: Track and optimize department KPIs, focusing directly on machine downtime, maintenance and repair costs, and on-time PM completion.
CMMS Administration: Act as the primary administrator for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Keep the system meticulously up-to-date by scheduling PMs, opening/closing work orders, logging activities, and managing the asset list.
Proactive Evolution: Lead the transition of plant activities from reactive fixing to structured, preventative, and forward-thinking predictive maintenance.
Team Leadership & Coaching: Promote a high-performing, flexible, and positive team dynamic. Coordinate training, deliver annual evaluations, and conduct monthly 1-on-1 coaching sessions to mentor your staff.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Maintain a "big picture" view of how maintenance drives company-wide goals, collaborating cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, IT, Shipping/Receiving, and Executives.
Maintenance Manager - What You Bring (Qualifications):
Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally within a precision machining environment.
Technical Aptitude: Must be mechanically inclined with diagnostic experience specifically related to CNC machinery.
Leadership Style: Proven experience leading teams with a highly collaborative, approachable, coaching-focused management style—no egos allowed.
Technical & Software Literacy: Strong computer skills, including hands-on experience with CMMS platforms, MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and system folder navigation.
Adaptability: The ability to accept, pivot, and thrive within a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
Maintenance Manager - Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits):
Financial Incentives: Weekly pay, plus semi-annual performance bonuses, quarterly attendance bonuses, and referral bonuses.
Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution, and wellness/employee assistance programs.
Security & Balance: 401(k) with company match, company-paid life and disability insurance, immediate holiday pay, and paid time off (PTO).
Professional Growth: Up to 100% tuition reimbursement and a seat at the management table with opportunities to lead major technology implementations.
Perks & Culture: A clean, temperature-controlled facility, company-provided uniform program, catered lunches, achievement awards, holiday parties, and team outings.
