PrideStaff is working with a premier manufacturing facility in search of an experienced Mechanical Assembler. The Mechanical Assembler will assemble floor removal and surface preparation equipment, such as scrapers, grinders, polishers, and other surface preparation machines. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions to ensure high-quality, durable equipment. The ideal candidate has multiple years of experience in industrial equipment assembly, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a precise production environment. The Mechanical Assembler is a full-time, temp to hire position.
Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
Interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate builds
Install motors, belts, bearings, housings, and electrical/mechanical components
Perform quality checks to verify fit, alignment, and functionality of all parts
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects as they arise
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following standard safety regulations
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve overall assembly processes
Assist with the testing and final inspection of finished equipment
Adhere to all facility safety rules and PPE requirements
High School Diploma or Technical Certificate Preferred
2–3 Years of Mechanical Assembly Experience Required (Industrial equipment preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with hand tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments
Familiarity with hydraulics, motors, or electrical components
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Consistent, punctual attendance is required
Must be 18+ Years Old
Must be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check
Must be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen
Must be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.
