The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of promotional and medical content through proofreading, medical editing, fact-checking, reference tagging/linking, and AMA style adherence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in therapeutic areas (preferably oncology), experience with Veeva PromoMats and FUSE, and strong skills in reference management, annotation, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality, submission-ready materials. Role Responsibilities: Expertly manage the tagging and linking of references cited in promotional materials within client submission systems. Conduct advanced proofreading across multiple articles, manuscripts, layouts, mechanicals, and final proofs with meticulous attention to detail. Perform rigorous fact-checking and validate content with references, applying deep therapeutic area expertise (e.g., oncology). Develop precise abstracts using authoritative online sources, ensuring adherence to medical, latest AMA style, and brand guidelines. Execute medical and language editing across diverse content formats, ensuring scientific accuracy and editorial integrity. Uphold the highest quality standards by ensuring error-free submissions and strict compliance with editorial and regulatory guidelines. Your Day-to-Day Deliverables will include: Proofread multiple articles to ensure accuracy and clarity. Fact-checks content and validates information using therapeutic expertise. Manages the overall life cycle of assets on Veeva Promo Mats / FUSE. Apply therapy area knowledge, including oncology experience, to content review. Create abstracts using online sources for reference and synthesis. Demonstrates proactivity in enhancing content and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Ensures adherence to AMA Style Guide and brand guidelines. Perform medical and language editing across various content formats. Required Skills & Tools Proficiency in AMA Style and reference formatting. Strong proofreading, medical editing, and fact-checking skills with exceptional attention to detail. Expertise in annotation, tagging, and linking of references and content. Experience in metadata analysis and content management. Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt content style and tone to brand and client requirements. Working knowledge of medical terminology and scientific content. Ability to manage document tracking, version control, and content organization efficiently. Proficiency in Veeva PromoMats for content review and submission management. Strong working knowledge of FUSE for content review and approval workflows. Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Reader/Pro for PDF review, editing, annotation, and document management.
