Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year
Requirements: - We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- We require 10+ years of relevant experience; an advanced degree in a related field may count toward additional years of experience.
- We require experience developing and maintaining software on embedded processors or microcontrollers in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
- We require a proven ability to collaborate across engineering functions such as Systems Engineering and Hardware Engineering to troubleshoot system- and board-level issues using software tools.
- We require experience working in Linux, including the ability to modify and maintain Linux kernel root file systems.
- We require experience building multithreaded applications.
- We require strong proficiency with CMake and Google Test for building and sustaining codebases.
- We require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance before the start date.
- We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.
Responsibilities: - We design, develop, integrate, and test real-time embedded software and firmware solutions with a focus on system integrity.
- We apply Agile development practices on embedded targets to deliver critical capabilities continuously.
- We work alongside Systems Engineering to create design concepts and system architecture documentation.
- We break down architectural artifacts into software requirements and development inputs.
- We participate in technical integration sessions with subcontractors to confirm selected hardware satisfies hardware and software needs.
- We develop hardened software applications using C and C++ across Linux and other real-time operating systems.
- We ensure alignment across teams and help remove blockers as they arise.
- We contribute individually and as part of a team to embedded software design and implementation efforts.
