Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant position for a commercial door manufacturer located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position will be assisting in their carpentry department and support activities of the carpentry and machining teams.
Pay: $20-$24+/hr depending on experience
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Assist with loading and unloading doors, frames, and hardware onto delivery trucks.
Help secure materials to ensure safe transportation.
Make scheduled deliveries.
Carry and move heavy doors and building materials safely.
Verify delivery orders and ensure materials are delivered accurately.
Assist with unloading materials
Inspect products for damage before and after delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized truck and warehouse area.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Previous warehouse, delivery, construction, or building materials experience is preferred.
Work Environment
Indoor warehouse and outdoor job site environments.
Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing in and out of a box truck.
Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
