Job description
## Role Overview Mercor is looking for detail-oriented generalists with strong research and analytical skills to support data quality control and annotation projects with leading AI labs. You will review, evaluate, and label data outputs to help benchmark and improve cutting-edge AI models across a variety of domains. ## Academics — Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in your academic field, or currently pursuing / recently completed a Master's or PhD - Background as a teacher, professor, or researcher; relevant fields include history, art, and psychology - Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply consistent judgment across large volumes of tasks - Excellent written communication and research skills - Ability to understand and follow detailed rubrics and evaluation guidelines ## Job Details - Part-time commitment of approximately 20 - 30 hours per week - Structured, well-defined tasks with clear guidelines, in a low-pressure environment - Immediate start preferred ## Application and Onboarding Process - Submit your resume - Complete a brief paid assessment to further evaluate your fit for the role - You will receive follow-up communication within a few days regarding your application status and next steps **Pay and Legal Status:** \- _Compensation stated above are effective rates.
