Senior Process Engineer – New Product Introduction
Are you ready to turn cutting-edge R&D into reliable, production-ready manufacturing? Our New Product Introduction (NPI) team is searching for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to drive the scale-up and commercialization of advanced thermal interface materials. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to develop clear, repeatable processes, push system capabilities, and meet demanding safety, capacity, and yield targets—all while solving tough challenges and unlocking high-volume production.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, optimize, and scale up novel chemical and materials manufacturing processes for commercial production.
  • Deliver key Release-to-Manufacturing milestones and support capacity growth for new manufacturing and quality workflows.
  • Develop and execute DOE’s to improve process understanding, stability, and scalability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve process variation issues.
  • Select and implement process instrumentation, controls, and material characterization tools.
  • Design and modify custom or commercial process equipment, leading internal and external project teams.
  • Assist Operations with workflow improvements and implement 6S principles for clean, organized workstations.
  • Work with quality engineers to establish metrics ensuring product form, fit, and function.
  • Lead process FMEA for new processes, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, organization, communication, and documentation.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, embracing new challenges and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven success developing chemical processes, roll-to-roll systems, and continuous manufacturing workflows.
  • Hands-on expertise in hazard analyses, defining engineering controls, and process safety.
  • Solid understanding of sensing technologies and data acquisition for process control.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvements in throughput, quality, and reliability.
  • Experience with process FMEAs and applied statistics (capability analysis, control charts, ANOVA, hypothesis testing).
  • Commitment to 6S principles for organized, efficient workspaces.
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage (company pays 75% for employee and dependents)
  • 4 weeks of supplemental paid parental and family leave
  • Unlimited PTO and 14 paid holidays
  • Competitive compensation
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
