The Analyst is an essential part of the Program team that delivers innovative, data-driven reporting and technical assistance to institutions enrolled in our national Good Food Purchasing Program. The Analyst advises Center staff, participating institutions, and local partners in assigned cities on using data to communicate impact and inform Good Food purchasing shifts within participating institutions.

Success in this position looks like:

• Trust is built and warm relationships are maintained with institutions, external partners, and Center colleagues. Those relationships are continually reinforced through regular check-ins, diligent follow-through, and a collaborative approach.
• Institutions receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights through their Good Food Purchasing Program assessments, and those insights are shared with institutional partners in a clear and accessible manner.
• Institutions and other local partners are empowered to communicate the impact of their purchasing shifts to stakeholders, using data received in their Good Food Purchasing Program reports.
• With the Program Team, the Program's technical infrastructure is maintained for accuracy and accessibility. Process optimization allows for new efficiencies to be built into our workflows.

This is a remote role that requires occasional travel. This position is currently funded by a grant through October 2027, and may extend to 24 months from date of hire dependent on a no-cost extension of the grant. This role may be further extended beyond the initial two-year grant, funding dependent. The Center for Good Food Purchasing is based in the Bay Area of California.

The Analyst is a regular full-time, exempt position with an annual salary of $70,400-$70,500. Our salaries are competitive; reflect our size, geographic location, and field; and are commensurate with experience. We conduct an annual review of market-based salary trends, cost of living adjustments, and internal parity to promote equitable and competitive compensation practices.
