Job description

An established aerospace technology manufacturer is seeking a Program Manager to oversee multiple customer programs from contract award through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to performance expectations. This is an opportunity for a customer-focused leader to manage cross-functional teams, build strong client relationships, and contribute to innovative engineering programs. Description Manage multiple customer programs simultaneously, ensuring contractual commitments, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives are achieved. Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and execution strategies to successfully deliver program objectives. Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other internal stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication between internal teams and external customers to ensure alignment on expectations, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Manage program budgets, including labor, materials, travel expenses, and outsourced services. Provide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure collaboration, accountability, and successful execution. Resolve customer concerns and address issues proactively to maintain strong client relationships. Ensure all projects comply with applicable company procedures, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. Oversee project closeout activities and ensure all documentation and contractual requirements are completed accurately. Identify opportunities for additional business, contract expansions, and follow-on work with existing customers. Profile Bachelor's degree required; Engineering background preferred. 5-10 years of program or project management experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven success managing schedules, budgets, project reviews, and program execution. Experience reviewing technical documentation, customer requirements, proposals, and quotations. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion.
