Quality Manager

At NovaSensor, an Amphenol company, we are pioneers in high accuracy sensing solutions. As a global leader in MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems) technology, we design and manufacture advanced pressure sensors that power critical applications across the medical, industrial, and transportation marketswhether it is enabling life-saving medical devices, enhancing vehicle safety and efficiency, or ensuring reliability in industrial systems.

You can expect a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, HSA, FSA, employer-paid life insurance, wellness programs, extensive EAP), favorable work/life balance, a generous PTO allowance and paid holidays, an engaging and collaborative work environment, and an entrepreneurial focus that encourages employees to chart their own paths.

About The Role

As Quality Manager for Amphenol NovaSensor, you will be a key member of the business leadership team, defining and executing a world-class quality strategy in close partnership with our Amphenol manufacturing operations. You will champion the Voice of the Customer, drive a Zero Defects culture, and advance the organization through the disciplined application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. In this position, you will have broad organizational impact combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution to deliver sustained quality excellence and long-term transformation.

What You Will Do

  • Define and execute the global Quality strategy for NovaSensor, aligning site and manufacturing partners with business objectives and driving a culture centered on Zero Defects, operational excellence, and the Voice of the Customer.
  • Lead and elevate the Quality organization by strengthening capabilities, and driving talent development and succession planning.
  • Own and continuously advance the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory requirements, driving ongoing enhancement and maturity of our quality standards.
  • Serve as the leadership quality interface for customers, regulatory bodies, and key suppliers, leading audits, resolving escalations, and protecting the company's reputation for technical excellence and reliability.
  • Improve robust business-wide systems for nonconformance management, CAPA, risk mitigation, and failure analysis, ensuring systemic root cause resolution and sustained corrective action effectiveness.
  • Drive operational performance improvement through data-driven quality and Lean transformation initiatives, leveraging SPC, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen to improve yield, reliability, cost, and delivery.
  • Lead supplier quality management, including supplier qualification, quality agreements, incoming inspection strategies, and supplier corrective action programs.
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to embed quality excellence across new product introductions (including APQP), product lifecycle management, and global production transfers.

What You Bring Along

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in MEMS, sensor, semiconductor, or electronic component manufacturing; familiarity with assembly/test for pressure sensors is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in leading and sustaining compliant Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485), including successful management of customer and third-party audits.
  • Command of automotive and medical core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, MSA, control plans, ) and advanced structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Whys, CAPA).
  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement leadership, driving measurable gains in yield, reliability, and cost through Lean and Six Sigma deployment.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Lean transformation tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, 5S, and visual management in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Strong people leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
