Warehouse Associate | Hanover

Location: Hanover Park, IL (Onsite)

Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming products are received, picked, packed, and quality checked with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of warehouse and safety procedures, possess some computer experience, and work well in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify contents of shipments compared to shipping documents, noting any discrepancies or damage.
• Operate a computer terminal to enter receipts and a printer to produce labels.
• Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, verifying quantity and correct product.
• Select the appropriate size boxes, pack the product, and send boxes to the quality check station.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School Education or equivalent.

Experience: At least 6 months of warehouse experience is required.

Skills:

• Knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer experience.
• Ability to multitask with effective organization and time management skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate and understand English to the extent necessary to perform essential job functions.
