Job description

ABOUT US

Stio® is an omni-channel mountain brand that designs, develops and sells beautiful, functional, and innovative apparel, footwear and other accessories infused with the soul of the mountain lifestyle. With headquarters in Jackson, Wyoming, Stio draws inspiration from the surrounding Teton Range and offers product via Stio.com, catalog, B2B and its Mountain Studio® retail locations.

We live and love mountain life, and as such see ourselves as caretakers of the resources that provide it. We are proud partners of Protect Our Winters and the Conservation Alliance among many other organizations. We have a strong preferred materials platform, use Bluesign® approved textiles wherever possible, audit our supply chains for best practices, and operate our workplaces responsibly.

We think that outside is the best side and that you can’t improve on nature. It’s good for mind, body and soul, and it’s our responsibility to help enable access for all people, regardless of race, gender, beliefs, background or ability. We strive for inclusion at Stio and in our local and national communities.

YOUR ROLE

The Product Compliance & Sustainability Analyst (PCSA) at Stio® operates from within the Centric PLM system as the central hub of the role, owning the integrity, infrastructure & daily operations of the platform that drives product data across the organization. Centric is the PCSA’s primary mode of work; sustainability & compliance responsibilities build from this foundation, ebbing & flowing seasonally to round out the role’s scope. The PCSA is accountable for compliance programs that enable domestic & international distribution and sustainability programs initiated by the brand, built on complete ownership of the PLM system & strong partnership with the supply chain.

The PCSA ensures the product engine data runs cleanly, transparently & with integrity, managing compliance documentation from supply chain through import, maintaining vendor-level certifications, and tracking progress against sustainability targets. The PCSA partners with Materials, Design, Product Line Management, Development, Production & Operations and reports to the Sourcing & Production Director.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain data accuracy, completeness & consistency across all Centric modules as Centric SME
  • Design & refine Centric PLM workflows to support seasonal product creation timelines
  • Train & support cross-functional users on Centric processes & data standards

  • Troubleshoot system issues; escalate technical matters to IT as needed

  • Manage vendor-level certification records (bluesign, OEKO-TEX, GRS, RDS, RWS)
  • Manage Worldly Scope 3 including purchased goods and materials data and reporting (Custom CO2 data)
  • Deliver product attributes to Logistics & Distributions to facilitate accurate HTS classification
  • Coordinate certification renewals & new applications in partnership with Supply Chain & Operations
  • Execute Stio’s Digital Product Passport program (DPP) in partnership with functional owners (Sales, Marketing, OPPs). Educate and inform Stio’s plan to address the Textiles Delegated Act.
  • Seasonally compile data for multilingual care content and lot labels according to sales distribution
  • Maintain existing product compliance standards for all channels, and set goals for future program advancement
  • Attend industry webinars on regulations and content claim requirements. Partner with Operations to stay informed of regulatory updates & convert to action for the product team.
  • Track progress against brand sustainability targets & preferred materials goals
  • Own sustainability-related data & reporting responsibility to cross-functional partners
  • Own EPA PFAS Rule & Report data compilation, including production volumes, disposal & hazards from 2011 to present

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in product creation, product data management, PLM administration, compliance or sustainability within apparel or consumer goods
  • Hands-on experience within PLM systems & product creation; Centric experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of RSLs, chemical compliance testing, CPSIA & textile certifications
  • Familiarity with import compliance fundamentals (HTS, COO, duty programs)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & data reporting tools
  • Detail orientation with ability to manage multiple deadlines across seasonal calendars

THE FINE PRINT
