Job Title Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Per Diem Pool) Job Summary This role is for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Room Per Diem Pool at an acute care facility located in National City, California. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population presenting with various medical and trauma emergencies. The Emergency Room environment is fast-paced and requires exceptional critical thinking, rapid assessment, and intervention skills. This position involves stabilizing patients, administering treatments, and collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a dynamic emergency setting. Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify changes in patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner according to hospital policies. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Demonstrated experience in an Emergency Room setting. Preferred Qualifications Not specified.
